101. A continuous special benefit of $55 per month is granted for the breastfeeding of a dependent child under 12 months of age, as of the month in which the mother or the breast-feeding parent applies for the benefit indicating the expected period of breastfeeding.
The special benefit may be granted to the mother or to the breast-feeding parent where the child is a dependant of the other parent pursuant to the first paragraph of section 12.1.
